Punjab reported three more deaths from the novel coronavirus and several news cases taking its death toll up to three while three new cases were also confirmed in the province taking the provincial tally to 408.
“We are doing our best to contain the virus and need full support of the citizens. Please stay indoor and follow the guidelines issued by the government,” Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said in a tweet.

The authorities have confirmed that nine people have died, while 1,201 people have tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday.
Despite stern measures taken by the authorities to contain the coronavirus epidemic, the number of cases in Pakistan continues to rise.
Meanwhile, eight new cases reported in Sindh, seven in Karachi and one in Hyderabad, taking the provincial tally to 421.
Earlier, five new cases reported in Islamabad while 12 in Balochistan taking the provincial tally to 131, national dashboard reported.
Gilgit-Baltistan also reported seven new cases in the region Thursday night, taking its toll to 91.
A report issued by the KP Health Department said 45 new cases were recorded in the province, taking the provincial tally to 123.
