Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramzan, symbolises peace and brotherhood. Chand raat is the time when families visit markets to shop for new clothes, buy sweets and do Eid shopping. Usually, the markets are open throughout the night, but this year, the timings will be different due to coronavirus crises. At some places, outdoor activities have been restricted, so, it’s preferred to make sweets at home.
