World Wildlife Day is an annual celebration on March 3 that was started by the United Nations General Assembly. An initiative started in 2013, every year World Wildlife Day stands as a reminder to conserve and protect wildlife and ensure that we are mindful of our way of life. World Wildlife Day 2021 will be celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm across the world. March 3 is known as the international day of the adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) on the planet raise awareness and benefits fauna and flora in 1973, and this is the reason that the date was chosen for World Wildlife Day celebration.
